#DisabilityHasNoAgeRequirement I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at age 12 and later I was also diagnosed with ADHD, PTSD, and OCD. I’m 25 now, and thankfully, I got the resources to help me learn how to cope with all my diagnoses.

@tee_spoonie I wish I had someone to bring with me to doctors appointments sooner 😔 being told "you're too young to have joint issues" when joint issues in our teens runs in my family, getting a new doc 2 years later who gives me an arthritis test right away😢 #DisabilityHasNoAgeRequirement

People with autism/on the spectrum are born like that.

When they reach adolescence, they still have autism. When they reach adulthood, they still have autism. When they’re elderly, they still have autism.

ASD exists in all age groups.

I have an older cousin that has autism. He has a hard time getting a job because people think that he should have outgrown it by now 🙄 that's not how it works!!

#DisabilityHasNoAgeRequirement one of the things that I struggled more then my illness itself is feeling accepted and understood. Most of my life I hid my issues because of what people my think or say. I was having this thoughts at 13 so no it has no Age!
