President Biden just signed two executive orders: One focused on expanding food assistance and delivering stimulus checks to very low-income Americans, and the other on raising the minimum wage to $15 for the federal workforce.

Economic equality is LGBTQ equality. Increasing the minimum wage to $15 nationwide would reduce poverty for male same-sex couples by a third and for female same-sex couples by almost one-half.

Jaime Harrison has been officially elected as DNC chair, as expected.

Illinois Sen. Tammy Duckworth, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, and Texas Rep. Filemon Vela Jr. were elected as vice chairs.

The officers were elected 407-4, per the DNC.
